Someone could tell me the direction of the stop of the Cuban that you go to New Jersey atlanta
Good food. We were there after lunch hours. Food was fresh and was served in a reasonable time. Try the coffee!
This Gem of a restaurant in Hapeville Georgia has an amazing assortment of delicious and tasty authentic Cuban dishes with a great variety a flavorful healthy and satisfying choices. The owner and staff are hospitable kind and friendly weather dining in or taking out the meal will be enjoyable.
It finally happened to me. Just like other people before me warned, owner was VERY rude. Used to eat there regularly but not any more. Poor customer service.I wouldn't even write this if it was an employee, but as the owner...she need to be better than that. When I called in the order, before I could even say anything, she was rude. I passed it off thinking maybe she was busy. When I got there not more than 10 mins later, the place was nearly empty. Then she gave attitude for using cash because she didn't have change in her register. She could have approached it nicely but instead she made me feel like it was my fault for using cash. I support local businesses which is the reason why I was a regular patron but definitely not for nasty people like her.
Super cute little spot, great service, and the Cuban sandwich was so good. The type of place that makes you feel right at home!
Great food and service. Cuban sandwich is great and the owner is gorgeous. Wish I had a wife like that.
Empanadas to slap your mama for! Pork & rice is perfection! Now this place is TINY - seats about 20. But food is great. Service is slow, and could use work.
As soon as I come in I was greeted and the owner it was super friendly and welcoming. The services it was super fast and the food it was very very taste... YummyI will be back for sure to see Mami..
I moved to Atlanta from Miami about 5 years ago and I have had a struggle finding good Cuban food (Papi’s is trash, fight me). After moving to East Point about a month ago I can easily say I have been to this place about 6 times. The food is absolutely amazing and seasoned well and the proportions are large enough that I can have it for lunch and dinner. This place definitely makes me feel like I’m eating in Miami again. Thanks!!!
Great and friendly service! Daily specials are always tasty and priced right!
Amazing food and great service! I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich with rice and beans. The chicken was cooked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend.
The food was awesome. The only thing is the kitchen is next door so our server had to step from that building into the dinning room where we were. When someone came in they would have to wait until someone came from next door with menus. But the food was great.
The best Cuban food in Atlanta. The closest thing to hopping on a flight to Miami and getting it from the source (nearly). The ropa vieja and puerco con mojo are spot on.
Man this is a great spot for authentic Cuban sandwiches ...amazing
First time trying this unique 1 of 1 spot. The food is amazing!
Good authentic Cuban food served in a relaxed atmosphere.grt service
The empanadas are deliciously addictive! The sandwiches will make you happy! The yucca will make your life complete! MUST TRY!
I dig it! Not much to look at but that adds to the charm. If you are by the airport, it's definitely worth the detour. Nice people, nice menu choices, neighborhood feel. Enjoy!
Delicious and huge portions. Medianoche sandwich was the best!
Great little place. The food was amazing and the service was friendly and fast. Better get there early not much seating but well worth the wait to eat some great Cuban food. I had the Cuban with beans and rice way more then I could eat. Parking is very tight better off parking in the side lot. You will not be disappointed.
Food is really good, but the workers aren’t wearing masks during the pandemic and thus putting others at risk. Wish they would start wearing masks to protect themselves and others.
My favorite Cuban in Atlanta! The most authentic place and the best I’ve had since visiting Miami. I have been going here since they opened and before they expanded. I have been to Buford Hwy and Papi’s before this place opened and by far they are the BEST!!
Excellent food - very tasty - rice and beans very well seasoned - will be back!
The food was delicious. The service was great.
Rudest dining experience of my entire life. I literally made an account so I could leave this review. My fiancé and I placed a to go order an hour before they closed. We got there half an hour before they were supposed to close (after we had placed the to go order) and they had already closed the door. They looked like they were cleaning so I knocked to grab our food. They kept pretending to ignore us. We called them and we watched the man inside pick up the phone, look at us, and hang it up.I can not speculate on the food (because we never got it), but the service was extremely unprofessional.
So good! A hidden gem near the airport. I'm sure it's all great but I got the medianoche 😍
Nice cozy cafe atmosphere. The food is not completely authentic Cuban. They put a Caribbean spin on it, but since I'm not in Miami, it definitely hits the spot.
The food is really good although some items have been hit or miss from my experience. The tamales were amazing the first time I had them but tasted kinda old the second time. The medianoche is the best sandwich I've ever had, and the empanadas are really great as well.
I had the steak salad and it was very greasy with no flavor, my co workers said their food was good. Service was not good, didn't get my drink order and had to wait a long time just to get some dressing for the salad I ordered. Also the fact that they add a %20 tip on to your bill is ridiculous, especially since they don't tell you that and when the service was very poor.
I wanted to try something new and someone told me this was a good place for authentic cuban food and so I decided to give it a try. Overall the food was good. I did think that their could have been a better selection to choose from on the menu. I found it a little limited. The food it self was good and preapred in a decent amount of time. The place itself is small and quaint. Overall i would visit again but not of the best cuban places i have been too.
Great food with homemade attention. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful!
1st visit..Loved it! Had the chicken cuban and it was one of the best cubans! This place is small, excellent service...one of those great hole in the wall places we'll go again and again.
Really yummy food! The plates and specials come with a decent amount of side items like yellow rice and beans and plantains, so it’s great value. Service was very quick despite us having gone during a busy lunch hour.
Quick and delicious food in a small place with a lot of charm... food specials everyday and the menu gives you a lot of options... excellent and attentive serviceHad the Chicken Fricasse special and was great, tender and full of flavor... great lunch deal with lots of sides to compliment the main dish.... little crowded space but is worth to check it out... will be back
My first time was great but second time not so much. Update for today 6/24/19: I brought my sister here to try the pork because I love it so much the first time I had it. We all were going to order the masitas de puerco but we were told that they did not have any today we were immediately let down on top of that the people working in there today were extremely rude when we tried to order something else, something as minor as adding peppers to the food the waiter said no in the rudest way possible. We canceled the food paid for our drinks and left. We went to pappi’s instead. Any place should be able to adjust to what a customer likes or at least try. This was my second time I guess the service depends on who is there. I’m not sure yet if I will be back honestly.
Mami's is a pretty popular lunch spot. It's by no means huge place so be aware of that. I thought the food was alright/decent. Service was friendly but slow....I had the Jerk Chicken salad. As a salad it is lacking, basically their jerk chicken salad over a mound of shredded iceberg lettuce. But if you want to eat kind of healthily - get it. The jerk chicken itself is pretty tasty though...
Food was A-1, service was great will come back.
Absolutely great food and service. I had the fried pork plate, it was tender and tasty! Please experience this moment:)!
Great deals at an affordable price! Slightly cramped even with their expansion into the next door location, but the food came out on time and the weekly specials are hard to beat for the price.
Great food, full flavor, cooked just right, generous portions, attentive friendly service, fair price, no line, and short wait after ordering. Everything I want in a restaurant! I'll be back!
Server took long time after I was done eating to get check. Food was pretty tasty but pork was over cooked. I'll try again sometime since ppl around me seemed to love it! I'll try a chicken dish next time.
Very good Cuban spot reminds me of my favorite spot in Fla. The sweet plantains are my favorite
I was looking for the closest thing to food from back at home. This is comfort food all the way! So good! Avocado was courtesy of desperate Latinos on the house... don't recall seeing any on the menu. Wouldn't hurt tho! 🤣
Great setting, lots of popular and traditional menu options. I recommend the masita de puercos (?) and the tres leches. Excellent spot for solo lunch as well.
Found this gem browsing restaurants near me on my lunch hour, ordered and picked it up all in under 15 minutes. Great food and very affordable. Will definitely be going back!
Authentic Cuban in the heart of Hapeville! Mami really brings the taste of Havana to her diners. Every dish we've tried is delicious and don't get me started on the hot/fresh guava pastries! But the best part of this restaurant are the owner and her team. It's always a pleasure to eat there and it feels like you're at an old friend's home.
Very good authentic Cuban cuisine! the staff very nice too! I had a delicious lunch.
This was a great little hole in the wall with legit Cuban food and coffee.
Wow , ordered empanadas to go ... and the empanadas were on point ! Delicious soft and crunchy at the same time . I liked all three the beef, chicken, and guava with cheese !
